PRESSING THREAT
A lump in the breast starts out small, but over time can grow into a bigger threat. Keep a Breast Foundation strives to educate and teach young women how susceptible they really are and encourage them to do self breast exams sooner.
By combining handwritten type, breast prints from a cancer survivor, and a bra, we created a striking visual that tells a story of how a lump grows into something dangerous.
Copy: There is nothing smaller than the atom. But from this microscopic particle grows one of the most destructive and deadly forces on the planet – the atomic bomb. Like the atom, a lump in the breast starts out small as well – and can grow to have the deadliest impact. Not all devastations can be stopped but breast cancer can. Early breast self-exams save lives.
Copy: Although nearly microscopic and harmless at birth, the highly-toxic, Box Jellyfish, when fully grown, has been known to kill nearly every living thing they touch. A lump in the breast when small, may seem non-threatening too, but in time often proves lethal. Not all dangers can be stopped but breast cancer can. Early breast self-exams save lives.
Copy: A faint breeze. A sprinkle of droplets. Although a hurricane has a modest beginning, it quickly grows into something lethal. A tiny lump in your breast can seem harmless at first as well. But for far too many, with time, that harmlessness doesn’t last. Not all disasters can be stopped but breast cancer can. Early breast self-exams save lives.
